The only one who ever doubted her skills was she herself. The idea of her actually cooking for a living, or even making an attempt to see if she could do it, seemed like a fantasy, far from the reality of her day job. But every time we talked about it, I could see how excited she got and how much she wanted the fantasy to be real. So I encouraged her.
